Has anyone purchased one of these for their dogs? Buddy Beds Any comments if you did? Allie has arthritis and could use a good bed to help with it, and we are sick of having to replace cheap dog beds every 6 months. We are trying to find a good bed that will last years and keep them comfy even in old age. Thanks.

I have had a Buddy Bed for years now -- my 105 pound dog loves it! After 4 years the memory is as good as new and unlike other foam beds I have had - this protective liner doesn't let anything into the foam that would make it stink. Before this dog bed I was buying a dog bed every 6-9 months because they would flatten out.

Their website has a bunch of testimonials you might want to check out--

My sister-in-law bought crib mattresses for her dogs as one had hip dysplasia, or so she thought. She had looked at orthopedic beds but she found they were just bad quality at ridiculous prices. So she bought them crib mattresses. They weren't the high end ones but much better than the beds she looked at. They were made of foam and were firm and big enough for a lab. It was cute to see them sleep on them.

We got our 7 month shih tzu a Woofapedic bed after seeing how much he preferred the sofa pillows. It cost me $130 before taxes but I think it's better than our own double mattress. The parent company is Jupiter Industries.
Individually pocketed mattress springs
top layer of foam
plastic sleeves for the mattress and attached head pillows
all covered by an ultra suede like material.
You just unzip and throw into the delicate cycle to wash and nothing wet will penetrate the plastic sleeves underneath. I think this is a superbly designed product.
