Anyone use DiaBac for soft stools?

Hi! Has anyone had any success with DiaBac to help firm up loose stools? My English bulldog pup's breeder swears by it and so far the rice and oatmeal have not worked. Well...I can't really be sure about the rice since the pup just ate around it. The oatmeal made the situation worse and acted like a laxative. He also didn't like the canned pumpkin. My other option is a bland food diet for a few days (boiled hamburger and potatoe (since dog refuses rice.)

Thanks!

Try the boiled ground meat without the rice or potatoes. Carbohydrates tend to irritate the bowl.

I found that boiled hamburger and potatoes all mashed up together really helped when my dogs were both feeling pretty crappy a few weeks ago. I mixed a little pumpkin with it all and my picky dog ate it without a problem. I don't know anything about carbs irritating the intestine but I would give it a try without the potatoes since your pup seems to be feeling pretty gross (and the oatmeal didn't help). My dogs LOVE getting boiled hamburger and mashed potatoes :) I hope that your puppy feels better soon.
