All I can say is good luck and post pictures! Jack Russells are high energy so mixed with a beagle she should be wide open all the time. Just be sure that as she gets old enough she gets lots of exercise. Taking her to obedience classes is also a good idea because JRT's are smart but can be very strong willed. I have an almost 5 month old JRT and my previous JRT died in June after 14 wonderful years. I love the breed and think they are wonderful dogs.

be prepared to put stuff up high...jrt's, and any dog Ive met thats even mixed with jrts, have incredible jumping abilities!! Like they have springs in their legs:) lol go to your local library, Im sure they will have some books for you or if not, they order them.

congrats, I know you must be so excited.

i have a jack russel terrier, adopted when he was 9 weeks old, hes 3 years old now, i love him. Such an awesome dog i can bring him to the park with no leash he will run around for HOURS, and when i want to go he will just jump in the car with me, jack loves to cuddle and loves attention. good luck with your dog , jrts are amazing
