Hello everyone. My name is Ashley. My fiancé and I live in a small town of New England, and we are excited to say that we will be making an addition to our family of two this June. We will be adopting a labrador retriever!
While this is our first dog together, we certainly aren't new to animals. We both grew up with cats and dogs, along with an array of other small animals. I also grew up with horses, and continue to ride when I can.
That being said, growing up, someone else was always the sole owner and main caregiver of the animals we were around so often. After moving into a space big enough for a large dog, we decided that it was the perfect time to adopt.
We're still two months away from being able to take our little girl home, but doing everything we can to ensure we'll be prepared for her arrival. You'll probably see me on the forum often!
