Dealing with the Poo

In my quest to find a way to deal with dog poo - I found this page. its pretty helpful.

But I dont think they sell "septic starter" in the supermarkets around here. Anyone know what it is or what other products (e.g. lime) would do the same thing?

There are enzymatic septic products on the market, I wonder if they would work the same. The one we use in our RV is Rid-X. You can get it at the supermarket.

I have been considering something like this too. I don't mind cleaning it up, but I don't know what to do with it except save it up and toss a bag of it in the trash. Not sure the garbage men like that.
