I need help! My 5 year old female Yorkie has pooped straight blood and mucus 1-2 times a month for the past year. Sometimes contains grass but mostly blood. I’ve taken her to the vet almost every time and I’m just not getting any answers and he doesn’t seem to think it’s concerning. She acts fine never has a fever and her blood work is normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would get a second opinion. If two vets say it's not concerning, it probably isn't, but never be afraid to get a second opinion if the first vet's diagnosis (or lack thereof) isn't satisfying you. Make sure to bring a stool sample in for testing.
