Mid-winter fleas! We have two indoor cats and three dogs. Found one flea on one cat. Cannot find any fleas on the other four. All were at their months end treatment of frontline. We immediately gave them all their topical (frontline) treatments. The cats also got capstar. We haven't noticed any fleas anywhere else. We did have some fleas earlier this summer, could these be leftover
eggs\larvae ( we did bomb the whole house). So do I need to bomb house again? The stragglers should die out if animals are currrent I'd think. We'll keep vacuuming and washing bedding. Any thoughts?

I've personally not found Frontline or its generics to be effective where I live. For the cats, I like Advantage II (or the generic version) and NexGard pills for the dogs.

I'd just keep to vacuuming and washing, but if they start getting worse, then treating the house and yard would probably be a good idea.

I had similar experience using Frontline. Switched to VetGard. Same ingredients as Advantage II, but at much lower cost.

Stay on the frequent vacuuming and washing.... 3 life stages of the flea are not on the animal. Only adults are on the animal for the blood meal, then immediately begin to lay eggs. The eggs fall off the animal.......
