hello, i know that for a large breed puppy, the calcium to phosphorus ratio must be balanced to prevent any problems. I am considering adding a green lipped mussel supplement to my 11 week german shepherd puppy’s diet. I read that green lipped mussels are high in phosphorus. Will this give him too much phosphorus?

Good dog foods are balanced for proper nutrition. Why do you feel you need supplements at all?
