We have given our dog the top quality food "before grain merricks" and "orijen" that we have researched first. Is it normal for our dog to expel gas all the time after eating and throughout the day? :( We walk him for 30 mins three times a day and he only eats twice a day however he is motivated by food. Is there something that I do not know about the food that we are feeding him or could this lead to a more serious problem?

Does he "inhale" his food? If he eats too fast, he can take gulps of air along with the food which would cause gas.

Since you're feeding good food I'm assuming he digests his food well but you could try giving him a spoon of plain nonfat yogurt to help with digestion. That could help too.
