Finally Hallie pictures, oh and she just turned 10 months! My last two posts have been of the foster pups but since they're gone (another on the way) it's hallie time!
I've been working with hallie on a new trick ; it's '8' where she weaves in and out of my legs. She finally got it! Here's proof beagles are infact smart! Also a few spring pics!
here's most of the tricks she knows:

Finally some spring-ish weather!!

Hallie had a blast she was exausted at the end of the day

Her in the grass (finally it's green again)

Done =)
Thanks for looking! Have a nice spring (well almost)

Wow, what a sweet, impressive dog! I love how you can see each individual whisker and eye lash in the second pic!

Such a wonderful little dog. I don't know who says Beagles are not smart. I think that you get out of them what you put into them. It is obvious that you have spent some time training. Good Job! :)

Thanks! she's a sweet girl too

Thanks, yes but she's growing too fast for me, I guess mom needs to catch up! lol

Beatiful dog. I anxiously await the day BW is even 1/2 that well trained.
It doesn't take long! Hallie's only 10 months and we didn't start serious training (at home she's never been to a class) until she was 6 months and it took absolutely no time! We used a clicker at first and I would recommend them to anyone.

Yeah, we Beagle owners have to fight the stupidity myth, one trick at a time... :D

Hallie's very cute! Love the second picture.
Tell me about it! Thanks, really? My least favorite was the second! I wish you would post pics of your two, from your sig they look adorable!

Thanks  I've never gotten compliments on her training before!

What a good girl!!! I wasn't aware people thought beagles weren't smart...they are some of the most clever little dogs I've ever known!
Yeah she's a very good girl! Has the energy of a BC though lol. Yep, believe it or not! When I researched beagles before getting one the most common complaint I came across was "very stubborn, won't learn" actually in just about every beagle book it says they're stubborn! I've never had any trouble out of Hallie...well as long as I had a treat or toy!

Sometimes too clever for their own good.

Or rather, clever enough entirely for their own good... too clever for their owner's good.
Haha, I agree! It's a constant battle to keep Hallie contained without her figuring how to get out
