Her full name is actually Aphrodite Dax Kennedy (here, you need three names on a license, which is why she has such a BIG name!), but we use Dita every day.

We also call her Dita Bear and Little Bear, because she looks like a teddy bear!
And when she is playing, her face changes as she gets excited - wide eyes and tongue out...so we call her Bitey Face....

I have a terrible habit of calling my pets by nicknames (The cat, whose name is actually Smurfette, is called Moosh, MewMew, Noodle, Fluff'n'Stuff, Puff, Squishy-Face, Garbage disposal, and Kobeyashe...) but I am really, really trying to stop it right now because it doesn't help us train recall....its so difficult though!
