Okay so we just got our first puppy 3 weeks ago. Supposedly the people we got her from had dewormed her before we got her. (Ha, yeah right.) I actually take her out on a leash to go poop and today was the first time seeing it in her poop. And yes I’ve googled dog worm images but they all look the same to me and I would be much more comfortable if someone told me exactly which worm it is. I’ve already given her medicine that kills 3 types of worms, tape round and hook. I’ve also OCD vacuumed our whole home. I’m paranoid because I have a 2 year old that likes to put anything in her mouth. Now I’ve seen House (M.D.) over 2 dozen times from the first to the last episode. (I’m pretty obsessed, Hugh Laurie is my idol and I’ve seen everything he’s ever done, I desperately want to meet him before he or I die, lol.) Anyways, there’s a lot of parasite episodes. So yeah, I’m freaking out. So if someone could please tell me what they think this worm is exactly that would be awesome.

Looks like they could be roundworms. Due to the life cycle of intestinal worms, puppies need to be dewormed at regular intervals, starting at around two weeks of age until they are around 12 to 16 weeks of age.
