Does anybody know what kind of dog this is? Is it a cane corso? Looks a little small to be a brindle mastiff (but maybe i'm wrong...)

Pretty tough to determine a breed without seeing body shape and a picture of the face. Do you have any others?

Unfortunately I don't have another pic. I saw the picture above on a post, and got me curious. I love brindle mastiffs, but am looking for a slightly smaller version (and the picture looked exactly like what I've seen before). I guess I'd describe the dog somewhere bigger than a lab, but smaller than a mastiff.

Bull mastiffs come in a brindle, though it's hard to say what that is from a top of the head shot.

So many different breeds and mixes can come in brindle that you really can't make a guess from that picture alone. My muttly mutt is brindle and my best guess is that it comes from plott hound for him but could be any number of breeds.
