Can you guys share the most rewarding thing about being a dog mum / dad?

I think for me, it's when I get home and they come running to the door to greet me with LOTS of kisses, barks, jumps, and sometimes pee and when they get too excited. LOL. I really treasure those moments because it's where I feel happy the most. I feel like I'm the luckiest person to be loved by my dogs. <3

Whats not to love, someone who cuddles but doesnt mind if I say no,
someone who wont hog the tv remote
to whom I can honestly say, its for your own good, when I dont share my chocolate
someone who is always pleased to see me
who never judges me
who will never cheat or steal from me
who wont go behind my back.

Dogs are great,,,add to that the great adventures the snuggles the playtime and the love its a win win relationship

that no matter how hard the day was, I always have my baby boy to cuddle with at night.

Also the rewarding experience of doing sports with a dog..

I have never really thought about it too much.... We always had dogs... I got my first dog (that was really mine and my responsibility - with guidance) at 7. Dogs were in every part of my life..... We had hunting dogs, working cow dogs, pet dogs and everything in between..... My afternoon chores throughout my childhood was cleaning kennels, running dogs, training dogs, feeding dogs, etc.....

They are so much a part of my life, I do not know how to not have dogs.

This is how I feel. When my mum lost her dog she asked me how I could bear getting another dog when I lost one knowing Id have to say goodbye again..
I told her honestly its because life without dogs is more awful than the pain of loosing one.

We don't get to keep them..... We just get to borrow them from God for a while....
