I recently became a first time pet owner of 2 maltipoos. They are both healthy and smalll dogs (4 years old). I've been in the practice of giving wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening. I don't know what is a good feeding time. They typically wake me up at 7:30 am and I feed them breakfast around 10:00 am. Then a 2nd meal around 6 pm. They are not super active so it seems 8 hours in between meals seems reasonable. Are these good feeding times?

OK, I guess I"m on the right track. As a first time dog owner, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. Thanks guys

Right now I am unemployed and in between jobs. Eventually I'll have to find gainful employment so then the feeding time will change. I'm used to working corporate 8 - 5 pm jobs. I'll probably lay out the food in the morning before I leave for work and then feed them when I get back.
