Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. I am hoping that you all could help me try to figure out what breed my sweet dog, Gemini was. Here are a couple of pictures. He was taller, so I thought that he was a great dane, pit mix.
But, I am not sure. Please help me out!!!

Great Dane mix would be a definite possibility. Maybe some Lab or pittie in there, as well?

You didn't ask, but . . .

I would caution against searching for a particular breed or mix, hoping it will have a personality similar to a dog you clearly loved.

Even dogs from the same litter can be wildly different. Personally (and this is just me) I intentionally avoid repeating breeds or mixes because I'm afraid I'll always be comparing him with a late, great dog, and that's just not fair.

Oh yes, I have already been there with that. I tried to find a dog that was so similar to him and ended up with the opposite. While I loved his personality, I also just loved his breed originality. Thank you for this though
