Chauncey's Story:
We found this cute dog on the street when we went jogging and he started running with us, we looked around and knocked on doors to find his owners.

Finally we took him to the local dog shelter for Los Angeles but we told them that if the owner didn't claim him we would come back in 5 days and we would love to keep him. 5 days and $38 dollars later he is ours.

He has been such a great addition to our family. We think he may be a Doxie-Pin, Chi-Weenie, Chi-Pin, or just a Min-Pin.

We will take him one day to get the test done to find out for sure. But maybe some of you have seen one like him before?


:: Stats ::
- Already very well potty trained

- Quiet with an occasional high pitch bark

- Weight: almost 11 pounds

- Loves to go under the sheets when he is sleepy

- Somewhat obedient

- Age: About 2 years old

- Loves to howl when we encourage him.

- Picks up every little piece of lint, crumb and hair on the wood floors (like a Roomba) Has not been a problem yet.

- Health is good but...occasionally vomits in the morning when hungry

You know, I kind of see Min Pin/Beagle. I'm almost certain he's not full Miniature Pinscher; his coat and tail look wrong. How old do you think he is? Is he going to get any bigger? It looks like he's got something more substantial than min pin or chi in him. Maybe Jack Russel Terrier?

The vet thinks he is about 2 years old. His teeth are nice and clean.

I would venture to say I see Min Pin and Jack Russel Terrier?

He's so cute! In the last picture he looks like a tiny shepherd mix lol!

I'd say something like Minpin/rat terrier or Jack russel/min pin as well.

I see a corgi/Jack Russel mix. Maybe some other things. Maybe some dachshund.

I think there's some kind of terrier in him along with min pin. Cute guy!

I see Min-Pin/JRT (ears are wrong to be rat terrier I think they would be more errect & pointed) or he looks very similar to my neighbor's JRT/Dachshund mix though he isn't quite as 'long' as Thunder pants.
