We bought my Dog 4 years ago with the belief he was a Cockapoo. When he started to grow up, I started to have my doubts he was a pedigree. This does not matter, as I love my Dog to death and don't care if we were conned out of money! It's just for curiosity really, have a look at pic below, just doesn't look like Cockapoos I've seen elsewhere? 🤔

I hate break this to you but your dog never was pedigree any poo dog cavapoo cockapoo whatever is actually a mix of two breeds the whatever and poodle.
absolutely nothing wrong in mixed breed dogs but it does mean that they can take after the mother or the father there is no guarantee in how they will actually look when they grow up.
As long as your dog is happy and healthy and you love him for himself nothing else matters.

I don't suppose you could maybe have a guess at what types of breeds he may be?

Looks like an English Cocker mix to me, as opposed to an American Cocker mix.

It could be a cockapoo but if it isn't then probably some kind of English Cocker mix. First generation if any mixed breed you could never know what you get... In this case, your dog can just take after the cocker parent instead of the poodle...
