Looks like a several breeder. The three I see are German Shepard, Labrador Retriever, and Beagle.

The coloring is quite typical of GSD, so GSD mixed with something, maybe Labrador and/or a somewhat smaller breed. If you really want to know, then doing a DNA test like Embark or Wisdom Panel would give you a pretty decent idea of his makeup.

Must have something smaller in the mix if he's part GSD, then. For reference, by nine year old GSD weighs between 50 and 55 pounds, and is 25" tall, and she is considered small, even for a bitch. My nearly seven month old Standard Poodle puppy weighs about 35 pounds and is pushing 25" tall, as best I can tell. I'm expecting him to mature in the 50 to 60 pounds range and be two to four inches taller than the GSD.

Most likely yes, he will probably get a bit taller and fill out some (muscle) if he's only 6 months, even if he's mixed with something smaller like beagle. My small breed dog gained about 30% body mass after 6 months.

He looks exactly like my 4 yr old dog. We had a dna test done and the results were 37.5% American Foxhound, 37.5% Miscellaneous Hound/Guard, 12.5% Lab Retriever and 12.5% Akita = 100% lovable maniac!
