I was going to be getting a puppy by the end of the year, I don’t have any pets in my house right now. Anyway I was just wondering were in the best place to store the new puppies food in the house in order not to attract ants and another pest! As well as what if I was going to be doing long term confinement training with the new pup what is the best way to put down their food in their crate in order to try and not attract ants to their food bowls thanks!

I have some large upright plastic containers with a lid, and just put the dog food bags in them (it's best for the food to stay in the dark in its original container). Bonus is that, unless it's really full with a 40lb bag, they can't open it either.
Extra food in a bowl has never been a problem for my dogs though, it's always gone in 2 minutes.
