Aww too cute. Poor mama, those pups were just taking everything out off her, it seems her former owner was not feeding her enough to counter what those pups were taking out.

Looks like those pups need a nail trim, mama is getting scratched up in those pics.

Good thing you got her and the pups, they will get the attention and care they need.

They all had daggers for nail, especially Mama. :'( I don't think she had had a nail trim in years. She could barely walk. They've all had nail trims since these photos were taken.

Yep I could tell they were sharp. Just wait till they get those piranha teeth, lol.

OMG those little speckled noses are so adorable. Very glad they have someone like you to care for them until they are old enough to be adopted and get mama fixed up as well.
