Hi, my 8 yr old Greyhound has been having some issues the past few days. For the past few weeks, he has had bright yellow stool (abnormal for him). Then today, he had bright orange stool! I took him to the emergency vet yesterday, after a day of not wanting to eat (two days ago) and not eating all morning yesterday. The vet took blood samples for a CBC and Chemistry panel. All came back normal. They also took a urine sample and said his urine had a greenish tint to it, but that also came back normal. He also vomited bile yesterday morning and has been lethargic and not wanting to drink today even after I take him for walks (which is also abnormal). He is currently on a chicken and rice (the vet said) mixed with his normal dry dog food. His actual stool is loose but still holds shape for the most part. Can someone please make sense as to why he is having such weird bowel movement colorations?

Did they run a full diagnostic blood panel or just the in house chemistry?

Can you get a stool sample analyzed?
