That's what I was afraid of too, but the vinyl is amazingly thick on the bottom and if their nails are short there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm going to pick up one of those pool patch kits just in case...

I empty it at the end of the day because I don't want it left sitting out there during the week. If I left the pool up all the time they'd be in it every time I opened the door and sometimes I just don't have time for that.

My neighbor keeps his filled and just skims the top getting the grass etc out of it.

Yeah.. these were taken at 8:30 this morning when it was already hot hot hot!! I don't like them running around in the hottest part of the day so they played for about 2.5 hours and they slept the rest of the day away.

What a mean Mom you are... a sprinkler... how pitiful.

I can tell you that after our first day with the new swimmy pool it's still in perfect condition.

I think if their nails are short enough they will be fine. I'm going to pick up a pool patch kit just to have on hand.

Walgreens has them on sale this week for $6.88. Walmart usually has them for about $10. I've seen them in CVS and Target as well.

Well worth the money.
