Hi my two dogs both started getting multiple non-regressing warts when we moved to Germany. We feed them a diet of raw mince beef + raw turkey + rice + raw veg (zucchini, carrot, butternut, cabbage and green beans). Both dogs are seniors i.e. 12 (toy pom) and 8 (lab cross) years respectively and so a dip in their immune system could be suspected...but for this to occur at the same time seems like a strange coincidence. Has anyone encountered something similar before...and have you found a solution? Or do you know if there is a website, organization, or specific person that you could refer me to, to address my dogs wart issue?

Thanking you,

Myron

My puppy had canine papilloma virus which is contagious between dogs. I think older dogs with compromised immune systems are also vulnerable. I gave him l-lysine supplements, thuja occidentalis, as well as a round of Azithromycin. None of these were guaranteed to help but in my dogs case I think they did because his warts were gone in three weeks. Good luck!
