There's this bitch that has been for sale since around Thanksgiving. She is drop...dead...freaking...gorgeous with a pedigree to DIE for. 16 months old, OFA Prelims done and CLEAR (OFA Good Elbows Normal), ears up and firm, great personality, a little extreme in the rear for my taste but could be taken to something less extreme. Elegant, a little light on bone, but she is, again, proportionate, nice neck (maybe a little long).

Long story short, this bitch that started out at $2500 around Thanksgiving is now being offered for NO money exchanged. All the breeder wants is for her to be SHOWN and either have someone handle another bitch for her for a few shows, or ONE breeding back on THIS particular bitch.

For you Shepherd people:
She's a Rolf daughter, Dallas Granddaughter.

Linebred on:
Proven Hill's Banker of Altana
We Love DuChien's Matthew
Kismet's Sweetheart Deal
Jo-San's Enterprise

I can post a pedigree if anybody is interested.

The bitch in question:

Here she is when she was first offered for sale:

Whoever said it was? If the breeder e-mails me back I will CERTAINLY make the 10 hour drive to see her! But she's gorgeous and what I've been waiting for, and maybe, just maybe things will work out for a change. I don't know....but I'm hoping it's Kismet

She's a head turner for sure. Me: I like that long-necked elegance, and the angulation of her rear--to my decidedly un-expert eye--looks to be exaggerated by the way she's stacked. I'd take her for the original $2.5K...if I had a place for her.

Let me know when you get her. You will if you will..

... and then keep me posted as to how she comes along and the rest....

She is very nice. Her stifle shows well and I love her top line and structure over all in these photos. In this economy.. well, you may just get her. Let me know how it all works for you!

What a pretty, feminine girl! Hope you get her... is there any reason why a bitch like that's being given free of charge?!

1. Crappy economy
2. Established people either have something like her (lines or type) or don't want something like her in their program
3. Crappy economy

For someone like me, she could be a fantastic starter bitch. Select quality? Unlikely. Finishable? Most definitely. And with a pedigree like hers she would be a PHENOMENAL female to start with. With other lines, her pedigree would "bog down" an established program.

No e-mail yet unfortunately :-(

Thank you CK :) I "forgive" the rear because I can breed away from that, and proportionately she's a very balanced bitch. Might be a little straight in shoulder, but the picture angle isn't the greatest.

I appreciate all your thoughts :) I havne't "hoped" this much in awhile

I like her Xeph! Not a fan of her rear-end, but I think that's a product of how she's stacked somewhat. Her rear might not be as extreme as it looks in the pictures. I know when I stacked Lacey and got some photos that my poor stacking job makes her rear end look like it has absolutely no slant. However that's my fault, she's minimally slanted but my photos made her look blockier than she is.

Good luck!
