My wife and I take a brisk walk every day which last about one hour. We will soon be the proud owners of a Labrador Retriever puppy. My question is: At about what age will it be safe to take him on this daily walk. My post is too short and I must add 10 characters.

I wouldn't take him until he has his vaccinations. You don't want him sniffing anything that has potential to transmit a disease (Parvovirus).
It is hard to wait that long and a bit frustrating, but you want to have a healthy puppy!
