waggin train?

I don't know if there's an actual recall but there's been some press about their chicken jerky treats from china and causing kidney failure or something......Including a class action lawsuit apparently.

Obviously things might get exaggerated online but I would avoid them nonetheless. I don't really buy dog treats cause I find most of them to be low quality and all of them to be overpriced.

I read Waggin Train, Milo's treats and the Canyon brand. They're made in China. Some of the problem isn't that they're made in China but some of the ingredients come from China. Feed as high a quality treat as you do food.

I was reading up a bit more on this and it seems to be a warning against all jerky treats made in china although the main culprit seems to be chicken jerky. It seems to be an on going thing for a while now among different brands and the exact cause of the kidney failure hasn't really been pinned down yet.

I would definitely be much more careful about jerky from China than stuff like meat meals. Meals are rendered and dead and diseased animals are allowed to be used since the rendering process sterilizes them. With jerky though, that's not the same case and I think treats are generally much less controlled by the FDA or whatnot. You can't really be sure of the quality of those meats until something happens....

because I've not only seen it at my TSC ( I doubt they would post miss information, they had to of gotten it from some where) and I've also seen it posted other places. Other than that, I just don't like Blue. Made all my animals smell horid, poos were big and smelly, and I tried it for over 4 months hopeing it would get better, but it never did.
