I have a 9 year old girl who had an emergency spay due to pyometra 12 days ago. She completed a 10 day course of azithromycin 2 days ago. She has been eating, drinking, and urinating normally. Bowel movements are normal as well. Her incision looks fine. She is scheduled to have her stitches removed in the morning.

I noticed a string of clear, slimy discharge hanging from her vagina this evening. There was no odor. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is normal or should I be panicking now? (She is lactating so I don't know if this is related to the discharge. I am hoping this is just hormonal)

All opinions are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
