Callahan Weighs 117 lbsHe's gained 13 lbs! Yay!!!! He's getting back to his thick hunky self!!! He looks so much better... his ribs are almost gone, his hip bones are still out there... but not NEARLY as much as before. He just looks so darn good.
He had acquired a puss filled cyst at the top of his neck... that had gravity take over and it created a pocket under his neck... but we have gotten that under control. They had me put a heated pad on him 4 times daily and massage it routinely... it went down, but today we decided to go in and drain the rest of it. There was not much left.
They drained what they could, then gave him a couple of shots of anit-biotic and then gave him a dosage of an Immune Boosting drug... since his immune system is still down. I didnt have to pay for any of it
so that is also a plus hehe.He was loved on by all his family there at the clinic and they all got their Thank You cards <3.
So things are going so well! He's back to his old sweet happy self! Looking good as ever! I cant wait to get him to the beach... we went all weekend, but the Vet said to give him another week before taking him out. So maybe next weekend after the 4th
