What makes you think he might be a mix? Where did you get him from?
How much does he weight? How tall is he?
He looks a little less fluffy and thinner than most Shiba Inu's I've seen but it's hard to tell from the pictures.

A friend gave him to us when he was 9 weeks old. He is 14 inches tall at the shoulders and weighs 15 lbs. We don’t care one way or another; he has certainly become a family member and is a very cool dog. My wife thinks he might be mixed, but I told her he was just in an awkward stage with blowing his coat.
