Seems my dog likes tuna juice alot. Instead of wasting it, I some times mix some of it with his dog food. Wife is pissed off and said its bad for the dog and wants to toss me out of the house. So, who is right and who is wrong? her vet said to not feed it to the dog "now she tells me"

Tuna can be awfully high in mercury. When making cookies if people insist they want to use tuna it's often suggested that they wash the tuna, toss the 'juice' and use fresh water if it needs extra moistening.

Besides mercury it may also be loaded with salt. I don't think it's a problem every once in a while, but not a steady diet. Toss the tuna juice out of the house before the wife tosses you...
