In the last week I've seen a few mailers about the new flea and heartworm chewable Trifexis and just now a promotional offer from my vet for it. The thing is it doesn't say anything about ticks and living in this area not having tick prevention is not a good idea.

Anyone else know about Trifexis and if it does have any effect on ticks? I like the idea of a chewable for flea and tick prevention as no matter how careful I am the topical always makes a bit of a mess.

Nope, it doesn't do ticks. That is our biggest client complaint about the Trifexis.
