I have a 15 week old Cavalier King Charles that is obsessed with food & treats. Training is hard as she is just focused on the treat, ignoring requests, no eye contact just staring at where the treat is. At times she gets impatient with us and starts growling, jumping and biting to get the treat. We abandon training when this happens but I don’t feel like we’re getting anywhere! Any ideas? We’ve also tried to train with love and pats and lots of encouragement but she’s not interested :(

^^^ This! It's frequently called "Zen", and there are lots of variations on it, all designed to help with impulse control.

This is an online self-study class that has this and other zen behaviors, as well as stuff like the name game, focus, recalls, mat work, and a lot of other puppy basics. Fenzi Dog Sports Academy - FE110: Raising a Performance Puppy
