Okay, so I'm tired of getting comments on Upendi being too thin. And I think it's because most people are accustomed to seeing overweight dogs, but at the same time it's still making me a bit insecure about Upendi's weight. So you're thoughts would be welcome as on here people know what a fit dog is supposed to look like.
Here are some pictures (sorry they're not better, she moves around to much to get good side shots):

She looks good to me. As long as you can't see ribs, she's fine. Some breeds you want to see the last 2 ribs, even. Like you said, most people are accustomed to seeing fat dogs.

Thank you for you're opinion. She's a very finicky eater with a high energy level so I sometimes worry she's too thin, but you can't feel her hipbones. You can feel her ribs with a bit of pressure but that's normal. I think she's a naturally lean dog and sometimes it seems as if she monitors her own food intake.

Thank you. My main worry is that she has a really noticeable abdominal tuck, I didn't know if she maybe needed a slight food increase. If she would even eat more. :D

I'm no expert, but she looks fine to me. If you need a little pressure to feel her ribs, I think that is a good sign she's not underweight.

From now on, just respond with, "That's how a dog is supposed to look," and move on. Teach Upendi how to roll her eyes. :)

I was fairly certain. Thanks for all the reassurance!

Yep, she looks fine. She is just a petite dog, and some people are NEVER going to get it!! In fact, she looks like she has a similar build to my Marge, especially in the back. Yours is just a bit hairier :p

yeah, she's good. Just tell them that she's a physically fit dog. :p
I kinda think that Callie is underweight: she has so much hair, so it doesn't look like it, but when you run your hand down her back you can feel her hip bones pertruding (sp). She eats like crazy, and she's super active... ugh.

Upendi is a beautiful dog, btw. :D

Thank you. :) You can feel Upendi's hip bones, but also just slightly. She doesn't look like, but she's got a good bit of hair so it's hard to tell.
