So after trying every possible variation for teaching the command "lay down"
Lola has finally learnt it.(THANK GOD) Now there's only one problem......not that big of a problem but still. Basically she refuses to lay down(with her belly touching the ground) on any kind of cold surface, namely tile. Now this wouldnt be that bad if our house wasn't 80% tile and or other cold surfaces (hardwood floor). So im looking for some suggestions seeing as I want her to listen to me no matter what surface we're on. And i've already tried using more powerful rewards(she loves peanut butter but still wont do it!!!)

Start by generalizing on a bunch of different surfaces that *aren't* particularly cold- grass, concrete-in-the-sun (if it's not already too hot where you are), stuff laid on the floor (a piece of posterboard, a plastic shower curtain, etc) and get her doing those VERY easily and VERY fast - then go back to the hardwood and other cold, hard surfaces. :p
