You might try contacting some rescues and explain that your dog needs to see a vet but you don't have any transportation, and see if there are "mobile vets" in your area that make house calls, or if the rescue has any volunteers who would give you and your westie a ride to the vets. I know the rescue I volunteer for has volunteers that would do that for people.

Abstract have you thought about calling a taxi to get you to the vet's office?

You might also check the yellow pages under petsitters. I found a woman who not only did petsitting but she also did 'taxi' service. She was a big help when I needed to get Chazz to the vet and couldn't drive due to knee surgery.
