today, Titch went thru and got re-CGC'd....being as he got it last yr at 4 mo, they recommend they do it again a yr later if under 6 mo....so, we did and he passed w/ flying colours....so, now he's set for--well, at least a few yrs....

Wow WTG! Sounds like Titch and his "trainer" (you) are well accomplished and you must be very proud! Good for both of you. Good reason for a brag for sure :)

You don't HAVE to redo it...but a dog passing a CGC at 4 months isn't a real test of temperament or anything. Dogs are still in the happy puppy "Life is great!!!!" stage, so things are "easier".

Temperament can change a lot in a year or so.

yeah, like Xeph said....they don't require it but they do recommend it and i wanted to make sure that he still was going to pass (not that i really didn't think he would but his attitude has changed toward people coming to close to me....just a bit more reserved, but still friendly--especially men)

but he did great...even on the separation part (which, since he's w/ me all the time was the biggest test)
