If my dog ate 3 small sponge cuttings. Size is 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch in size.

Is this harmful?

Depends on the type of sponge and the size of the dog. You really should call you vet to see what they advise.

Just a real soft sponge.

Only thing on the sponge is bacon grease.
