when the dog goes to sleep i tie him up and turn off all the lights he has a bed that he be destorying but he has a bed but he crys and crys how can i get him to stop crying? he wants to sleep with me but when i lay down he licks and licks me i cant sleep so how can i fix this problem?

You're right, he wants to be with you. The easiest solution is to crate him beside your bed. That way he can't lick you but, he should be quiet as you're together.

if i put him beside my bed he will try to get on and keep on trying until he is laying with me then he licks me and wont stop

yeah but i need to work tonight and my dog dont really let me do that like i love him to death lol but man coding and designing i need some quite time to think and really get my head going and with him barking or jumping at me the whole time isnt working

i just need a few hours of quite time......

The solution is simple but difficult. You either crate him (with the door closed) or tether him near you. Give him a special crate/tether only chew toy such as a stuffed, frozen Kong. And then, ignore any and all attempts to get your attention. Wear earplugs if you have to but pay absolutely no attention to him. And don't let him out of the crate or off the tether unless he's quiet and behaving nicely (even if you have to sit and wait for him to take a breath).

You don't say, but I have the feeling that up till now you've eventually given in and let him off the tether (or out of the crate) when he was crying. If this is correct, expect it to take several days before he gives up and realizes that this time you're going to see it through.

i give in because i dont know when he is crying if its for my attention or he needs to use the washroom thats why i let in sometime he crys for the washroom and other times i let him go for that reason to find out hes just wants my attention and also i live in an apartment so i cant really just leave him crying at 3 in the morning

If you have him on a strict schedule you should have a good idea as to whether it's attention seeking or he needs to be taken out.

As far as the apartment goes, I do understand the problem as I've had dogs in apartments. Work on the problem during the day by crating/tethering him for short periods of time and gradually increase the amount of time. Talk to your neighbors and let them know that you are working on the problem but there might be some crying, etc. for a few days. Take them some earplugs and a nice plate of cookies or something to thank them in advance for being understanding. At night, for now anyway, tether him to your bed (at the head) so you can reach down and let him know that you're right there with him. This way he's close to you but not on the bed. And, if need be, schedule one bathroom outing about half way through the night.

If this dog sleeps all day than it is probably on a reverse schedule than you are. You are going to need someone to play with and occupy the dog for at least a few hours prior to YOUR required quie time to actually have him sleep. And yes, buy a crate, and let him cry for as long as it takes for him to fall asleep, but ONLY after being active with the dog for a few hours prior.
