Is it normal for a dog to pull on his leash and typically exert himself more when he's dehydrated? It seems the only time he pulls is like this at the end of a walk or something when I can tell he's thirsty.
I've never really thought about it. But my dogs pull at the end of a walk because we are nearly home. Bit like horses. With a novice rider they struggle to get them moving. But turn around towards home & they gallop.
