Hi all!
I have a beautiful 3yr old Australian Cattle Dog cross who can jump over a 6ft high fence flat footed. She is incredibly smart and agile and we are at a loss as to how to stop her from jumping our fence. We have two other dogs to keep her company while we are at work and many toys etc. We have added height to our fence but that does not stop/deter her and at one point even used a radio collar but she outsmarted that. Our biggest fear is she will run on to the road and get hurt but we couldn't bear to part with her until we know we've explored absolutely all options. Appreciate any advice!
Thanks so much, Rachel

I would run a hotwire (electric wire) up the top AND a second halfway up to stop her climbing. We have elec fences all round our property and the dogs learn pretty quick. A couple of hits of that and she will hopefully give it up. Alternatively, and this depends on your money situation of course you can build one of these type fences around the top of your existing one (ignore the poor fence quality lol you get the idea)

Or put her inside when you are out and tie her out when you are home with a HUGE bone/kong.

Thanks very much voodookitten. That fence would certainly keep her in although our problem at the moment is that we can't do anything permanent to the existing fence as we don't own the property. Thanks again! Rachel
