How do you get rid of tear stains on a white dog?

I've been using water, but its not really helping.

I've tried everything from changing water, changing food, wiping their eyes several times each day, ...you name it. The vet said our little papillons have very small tear ducts due to the selective breeding for smaller heads within the breed. Therefore their tear ducts are easily clogged and then become infected, usually with red yeast.

You can buy tylan, the antibiotic active ingredient in Angel Eyes, on JeffersPet.com. Just look at the top selection bar and you will see a choice for livestock supplies. Tylosin / Tylan is commonly used in poultry for respiratory infections. It also works great for red yeast in dogs. One jar will last you a lifetime and I think it was around $40.
