*seconds all the above...even the phone number bit*The Boomerang tags are excellent and not terribly expensive - even with the shipping.
I've only had to replace mine because our phone number has changed.
Yeah, but that's true of all tags. Which is why people should get microchips, too. My point was that you can get a bunch and just put a new one on if it gets lost without having to spend another $5-10 on an engraved tag. Or you can just change the info in it every time you move or change phone numbers (good for me because I move about once a year).Unless they lose them while out running loose.
What if people don't know what it is or that you have to open it?I just got a bunch of these things:
They are little capsules that you can put the info into, and they screw shut. They are only a $1 for the smaller brass ones, and $1.10 for the slightly larger nickel ones. So if they lose them or they break, it's no big thing.
I can't believe I never thought of that! When I was younger I used to make weird jewelry with those things. I think I still have some sheets lying around somewhere. What if people don't know what it is or that you have to open it?
Ok, don't laugh, but I aw in my mom's magazine that on marthastewart.com she has templates so you can make your own tags using shrinky dinks...
