So my Griff broke his left distal toe on Friday, came home from a trail ride and he was lagging pretty far behind. He does not hang around when I ride, he is always off hunting so I am not sure when he broke it, but I saw him limping when we were about a quarter mile from the gate. I took him into the vet and the x-rays are pretty clear.

So I am starting him on a liquid glucosamine and chondroitin with MSM supplement tonight, it is a pretty cheep brand, I should have shopped around a bit more but I figure it will do for now until I can get in a better brand. Any suggestions? Also do you think liquid or pill forms are better?

So here are the x-rays:

and the cast they put him in:

Liquid or tablet doesn't really matter, whatever your dog will take. My pups get Elk Velvet Antler (powder) and Glyco-Flex II (chewable tablet).
