Hello,
We recently adopted a 6yr old furboy.
We got him a checkup including stoop check a couple of weeks ago - all good.
But now I'm noticing odd things in his poop that can't be coming from his food and he has started eating grass/possibly some dirt as well.
So I'm wondering if he picked up some kind of parasite that way - this mornings poop was also a bit soft.
Before I take him to the vets for another stool sample I figured Id see if anyone recognises the weird brown blob things as all parasite things google shows me are white?
He has had these things several times now - first time I thought maybe he "cleaned up" some of my kids food and assumed it didnt agree with him. But as it's happened more often now I dont think thats it (I do keep an eye on what he eats and nothing that looks like these things is going in, in what we feed him - we feed him what the previous owners did to avoid stomach upset, may make a gradual change later but for now its salmon/sweet potato kibble
Insect Leaf Organism Mammal Grass
).

Thanks for any input!

It is against forum rules to ask for medical advice. Please consult your vet, and you can make a new thread regarding the diagnosis.
