Hello, we have a 6 month old Border Collie mix who loves to run around, jump and play. However, as normal as he looks running and jumping, when he walks he has this sort of weird gait. Could it be hip dysplasia?

He really is walking oddly. You need to consult your vet, and possibly get a referral to an orthopedic vet or rehab specialist, if they think it's necessary.

He really needs a vet consult.. If you cant get in straight away send the video for them to look at so they can at least get an idea of whats wrong.

Oh man, our dog walks the same way. She's very energetic and slips and slids all the time on the hardwood floors.
