Background:
We have a 13 year old female Shihtzu-poodle mix, 12 lbs. Had Cushins but now her blood work is fine. Recent vet visit was all normal. The is a small mole that has formed on the top of her head but the vet said it was normal.

Question:
The concern is that she randomly spasms, like she was just frightened by something. Its a quick whole body or partial body jolt as if she just got shocked by electricity for a split second. At first we thought it was her dog collar, but she has also spasmed just sitting on the couch. She does not seem bothered by it in the least and she continues on with whatever she was doing like nothing happened. Please help us figure out what is happening with her. It is very upsetting to us watching her have this issue.

You need to go back to the vet. No one can diagnose your dog over the Internet nor is it safe to do so. If its enough to worry about, it's enough reason for a vet visit. Good luck.
