I have A year and a 1/2 year old golden retriever who we think was bit by a spider and has gotten super infected on her stomach wondering if anybody else has experienced this we took her to the vet and they put in drain tubes and got rid of a bunch of necrotic tissue. Just curious if anybody else has had to deal with this before and if anybody knows roughly how fast dogs heal.

Healing speed depends on the individual, the health of the dog and the extent of the procedure. Although, you should see healing evidence in a day or so after the procedure. Some key evidence is exhibited in the dog's behavior. Eating, playing, walking, wanting to be in the group....signs of returning to normal routine

Stay in touch with the Vet for anything that appears to be out of sorts. Otherwise, follow the Vets treatment instructions.
