Hey everyone, I just wanted to show off my german wired hair pointer. We call him Olly, short for Olliver and he's almost 2 years old. My father and I got him when he was about 9 weeks and he's grown into a bird loving sweet heart. He doesnt take well to strangers but he wont stop showing his affection towards me. All he does is lay by me all day, lick my neck and arm and try to shove his body on top of mine. He's probably the most affectionate dog I've ever owned. I have a few pictures of him which should justify the title of this post lol.

yea he is sweet. all he does is lick me, want scratched, chew up various things and lay by me. i dont know what id do without him. he isnt much of a guard dog although he does bark at any sound he hears lol

Me too! And barking is guarding...he let's you know when he hears something doesn't he? Good boy Ollie!

yea maybe he is a good guard dog but hes better at finding birds and he looovvveeesssss birdies. not to mention he points at weeds that blow in the wind too lol. for some reason he has to have a stick in his mouth when hes doing his "business" outside and most of the time the stick is really really big and more along the lines of a log lol. he listens really well though. ive never owned a smarter dog than him and i thought my boxer i own right now was brilliant.
