So much poop, so little time to scoop

So, my question is this: At a certain age, do they start to poop less? I know human babies poop a LOT then it decreases in frequency. Does this happen in general to dogs as well? (Please say YES! LOL)

It's a little more complicated than just age. It depends on how many times a day you feed, what kind of food you feed (better food means better digestion/less waste), general body metabolism and daily exercise level.
In general, yes, they go less with age because they're no longer being fed 3 or 4 times a day.
Would you like to come and scoop for my four for a few days? It would make you appreciate just the one. :)

Toony is right. Better food, smaller, fewer poops. I'm scooping deer pellets these days (well, almost). :D

Ok, first I'd like to thankfully decline your offer. LOL :p

Second, I guess I should move to the dog food forum, but that area confuses me! Can you tell me what you feed that will result in deer pellets?

Luna's poo is pretty normal I guess. Not runny or anything, it just seems like she goes fairly often. Of course, it could be all in my mind since I hurt my back and I'm still grieving the loss of my dad so I only scoop every 3-5 days. When I can do it every day or every other, it may not be so bad.
I'm sorry about the loss of your dad...

I feed raw. And it's not actually deer pellets, but it's about 1/2 the size and 1/2 the frequency that it was with a good dog food.
